As a church we believe that its important that we model generousity and giving and we therefore give away 10% of our income each year.
Oraganastions that we fund or have given to include the following:
Oaks Community Church Orphanage in Hyderabad
Working with Pastor Joseph Babu, (President of Word in Action Outreach, WIAO), Oaks Community Church has funded the setting up and running of an orphanage in Hyderabad City which has graciously been named after the church. The Orphanage is part of a wider network of orphanages under Joseph’s leadership. This orphanage is currently home to 22 children who would otherwise be on the streets being forced to live by prostitution, theft and going through peoples rubbish. Many of these young people have seen their parents die of AIDS and have the added difficulty of being treated like lepers because of their parents illness. At the orphanage the young people receive love & care, they are fed and clothed and receive an education. Poor people in India have no chance of getting an education. They are automatically forced to take the worst jobs, if they get jobs at all, and thus continues the cycle of poverty.
Aylesbury Church Network
The ACN is a collection of churches based in Aylesbury who are working together to bring transformation to Aylesbury. The leaders of these churches meet on a weekly basis to have fellowship and pray; the ACN also puts on town wide events for training as well as a monthly prayer meeting.
Youth For Christ
Youth for Christ’s mission statement is ‘to relevantly reach every young person with the good news of Jesus’ . They do this in a wide variety of ways including Schools work, street work and youth cafes.
Great Lakes Outreach
Great Lakes Outreach (GLO) is a UK charity which works in partnership with several organisations in the Great Lakes region of Central Africa, notably in Burundi. It was founded in 2003 by Simon Guillebaud, who has worked in the area since 1998, in response to the massive needs and huge potential impact of strategic involvement in cooperation with key partners.
Humanitarian Aid Relief Trust (HART)
HART supports the forgotten people of Europe, Africa and Asia: the oppressed and the persecuted individuals who are often neglected by other organisations and are out of sight of the international media. Their aim is to help communities become self-sufficient by enabling them to redevelop in ways that are sensitive to both their cultural and religious values.

The Manna Centre's services include food, shower facilities, medical advice and care, advice on getting shelter and accommodation, drugs and alcohol advice as well as a warm and friendly community focus.
